jb72 Posted August 14, 2010 #1 Share Posted August 14, 2010 We will be coming into St Thomas on the Carnival Dream. We want to take the St Thomas tour but are not big on beach time. It seems that all the tours offered by Carnival include an hour or more of beach. Are there any other tours there that do not include beach time? tjschwalm Posted August 14, 2010 #2 Share Posted August 14, 2010 Years ago we did a Carnival history type tour that had no beach involved . It was very informative and cheap with no lunch . It was nice to know about the history of the island we were visiting . It was an open bus tour . If nothing comes up on your excursion menu it may be gone or not offered for your particular ship . It is a beautiful island and I imagine someone will chime in soon with private tour guide info .

DonnaK Posted August 16, 2010 #4 Share Posted August 16, 2010 We just returned from St. Thomas. We booked a our with Papa Bear after reading very favorable things about him on this board. He was AWESOME!!! Very knowledgeable and passionate about his island, and we felt very safe with him at all times! We've been to St. Thomas many times before, yet he showed us "new" things that we hadn't seen on previous trips and tours. http://www.havefunwithus.net/packages.html Check out package 6. 2 hour tour with no beach or shopping.
