Rum Point without Stingrays?

Hi

DH and I are interested in going to Rum Point but have already swam with the stingrays and although we had a blast, we don't want to do it again. We were wondering if there is a way to get to Rum Point by water (not sure that we want to do the 45 min drive) without the stingray trip.

Hmmm. Good question.

The many times I've been there, including an OI (on island) trip, I don't remember an inter island ferry.

After Googling info, seems that after Ivan, it was discontinued.

 

The 45 minutes is an adventure. Driving on the opposite side of the road.:D:p

Hi i see you are doing ambergris caye on a cruise? i have been looking for something that goes there but it looks like you have to take a plane

We went to Rum Point just this past week and had a great day there! Only snag in our plan was the time difference between ship time and local time - car rental place didn't open until an hour after we arrived. But the drive over was definitely an adventure, and we would definitely do it again. It was a very laid-back, relaxed day! Food & drinks were expensive, so be prepared.

Has a waverunner tour that goes to Rum Point, it also has the option of Stingray City and Snorkeling.

 

In a few weeks when we go back, we just want to take the waverunners to Rum Point.
