janicar Posted August 18, 2010 #1 Share Posted August 18, 2010 We will be on the Carnival Ecstasy on Oct. 2, 2010. We would rather not make advance reservations for shore excursions in Cozumel, but would prefer to wait and see what we feel like once on board. We don't have a strong preference of one excursion over another. How important is it to make reservations for shore excursions prior to sailing? Thanks! golfadj Posted August 18, 2010 #2 Share Posted August 18, 2010 Very few will sell out before boarding. Just for your info most experienced cruisers will book private tours as they are cheaper, less crowded and better.
caribbean dreams Posted August 18, 2010 #3 Share Posted August 18, 2010 Very few sell out, mostly the very popular ones like stingray city in Cayman, if any for Cozumel are going to sell out, my guess it will be for Paradise island or something with very limited space. Go ahead and wait, i don't thing you will have a problem booking on the ship at your leisure. have a great cruise:)

I agree,,,,,,,,very few actually sell out............don't be 'scared' into booking cause the CD says they will. Also, we always book thru independent operators.......less $'s and smaller groups
