Port Arrival Question

If the itinerary states arrival at Cozumel at 1:00pm---is that Cozumel time? Also, if the ship docks earlier than expected, can passengers debark earlier? I have booked a beach excursion in Cozumel that closes at 5:00pm and want to make the most of my time! :)

I am almost positive that is ship time, not local time. When you come to Cozumel, they request that you stay on ship time, excursions are also coordinated that way. Enjoy!

Just returned, and yes it is ships time. If you dock early, you will be allowed to get off as soon as the ship clears customs.:o

Generally speaking it will be ships time but you need to check your Fun Times to make sure.

The cover page will have the correct information at the bottom if necessary.

 

If the ship makes port earlier you can debark as soon as Mexican customs clears the ship.

 

Remember, you'll be docking in Puerta Maya and it's about three miles from San Miguel, the town that most people refer to as Cozumel, so budget time for the transit...
