Teen Surfin' Safari

Disney Wonder, March '11. My 14 yr old wants to go on an excursion that is chaperoned by the Disney Youth Leaders. She wants to go on this Teen Surfin' Safari. My girls always have gone on excursions with us, "family time". But she really wants to do this and has saved enough money to pay for it on her own.

Question is.....has anyone let they child go on a teen only excursion? It makes me a little nervous. Her older sister will not go with her because she just watched "Shark Week" on Animal Planet and saw the sharks attacking the surfers!

I've never done it, but more because I haven't seen if offered before. If it is coming from Disney, and they are chaperoning it, I would let my kids do it. Disney is very kid & family conscience, so I'm sure it will be wonderful.

By the time the cruise rolls around, your other daughter may have forgotten about shark week and decide to go.
