11/27 GEM or Jewel

wondering if suite will come down for sailing after Thanksgiving out NYC. We have 2 cruises to choose 11/27 or 11/28; Gem or Jewel. Its a slow season and some post mention price is good around 60 days out from sailing. So tempting when balcony is now $599, wanting mini-suite, but price is out of our budget. Want to know if anyone get good price on mini after final payment due. Thanks!

probably not--get the balcony--only difference is a balcony does not have a tub---mini suites have no perks--then if price comes down on them after final payment and you still want one call to upgrade.
