voyagerII Posted February 13, 2005 #1 Share Posted February 13, 2005 Looking for advice from past cruisers to shed some light :) on the lifeboat deck in the 9000 series cabins on Horizon's Bermuda Deck and the Zenith's Bahamas Deck. Anyone ever come up with a great view from either of these ships? Thank You, David
nmtraveler Posted February 13, 2005 #2 Share Posted February 13, 2005 We sailed the Zenith a few years ago and had cabin 9077. You get a great view of the lifeboat from the obstructed cabins but we didn't mind it after a while. The only time you get an unobstructed view is when the crew has their lifeboat drill. The nice thing about this deck is that there is a nice place to read or suntan at the aft end of the deck. All in all, the cabins are probably the best bargain on the ship. greeneg Posted February 14, 2005 #3 Share Posted February 14, 2005 We were recently in 9100 which is one of the aft cabins and had an unobstructed view.
richkinkade Posted February 14, 2005 #4 Share Posted February 14, 2005 I've sailed twice on the Zenith in cabin 9031, which is just in front of the first lifeboat. Not very obstructed at all. Since it was cheaper than a porthole, I thought it was great. You're also on a great deck. Two decks up to the pool, one down to the casino, library, Cova Cafe, two down to the dining room. If you email me at richkinkade@aol.com, I'll send you pictures of the view.
