Gabrielle R. Posted August 28, 2010 #1 Share Posted August 28, 2010 I was wondering what type of tours that are at the pier when you get off the ship? Any decent tours that you tired/liked/heard about? Thanks for any information you can give! Gabrielle

welldone60 Posted September 11, 2010 #3 Share Posted September 11, 2010 Six of us walked off the ship and met Adrian. He gave us a tour of the island and took us to a beach. Came back for us at the time we had requested. $30 per person. When we got back to the ship we found out we had left a camera at the beach. Adrian told us where to wait and he would be back. 35 min later Adrian showed up with the camera, we tipped him well.

What beach did you go to and did it have water activities? Restaurant etc? How long from start to finish including beach time did your tour last. welldone60 Posted September 12, 2010 #5 Share Posted September 12, 2010 I don't remember the name of the beach we ended up at. He took us to the first beach but the water was really rough so he took use to another location. From this beach we could see the cruise ship. There was food and drinks there, 2 chairs and umbrella $10 which include 2 free drinks. It's the same beach that the pirate ship tour goes to. The tour lasted about 3 hours and we were at the beach for about 2 1/2 hours. We could have stayed at the beach longer but we decided to go back to the ship. Adrian had given us his cell phone # and told us to call him if we wanted to leave before the time we had decided on when he dropped us off. The tour took use to the Maibu rum tasting (free just tip the server), around town to see some of the historic sights, then to a golf course to see monkeys, then up in the hills for some views., then back down to the beaches. Adrian was a great tour guide, great sense of humor, great driver, fun guy, did not want to be paid till we got back to the ship. I should have got contact info from him.
