Does anyone know if there are opportunities to go fishing as day excursion in ports of Dubrovnik or Kotor?

Only if you know how to drop the nets into the sea. Our local fisherman drop their nets very late in the evening and pick them up about 0500 so they can be at market by 0600. There are no fishing excursions for guests in Dubrovnik.

Town is much nicer than dropping nets. Just for fun, ask him if he's interested and do mention the hours. You may get a nice laugh....
