RondaRed Posted February 14, 2005 #1 Share Posted February 14, 2005 I am supposed to be in George Town on March 29th from 8 AM to 6 PM. How does ship time compare to local time? Will I be able to make a 9 AM tour or will I need to reserve an afternoon tour to stringray sandbar. Will an afternoon tour be cutting it short for returning to the ship? Also how hot will it be in Grand Cayman at the end of march? And how will the water temps be? Thanks Ronda

RondaRed Posted February 18, 2005 Author #3 Share Posted February 18, 2005 I will be on Celebrity Galaxy. Is the ship time same as Grand Cayman time for March 29th? Thanks Ronda
zydecocruiser Posted February 18, 2005 #4 Share Posted February 18, 2005 That's a good question. Bottom line is I don't know, but... Ships that leave from Central time zones tend to change the ship time to local time. Celebrity website indicates Georgetown on March 29, Port of Grand Cayman has Galaxy there March 30. So I'm not sure what day you'll be there, let alone what time. Think I'll try an easier question. Average High/Low temps for Grand Cayman in March - 77/68 and for April 78/68. RondaRed Posted February 19, 2005 Author #5 Share Posted February 19, 2005 Thanks Zedoco That's a scary thought about the two different dates to be there... I went ahead and booked with Native Way for the Reef, Rum Point Tour. She said I could make it so I hope that means she will wait on me.
