Courtesy Passport stamps

You used to be able to drop your passport off at the pursers deskand have immigration from ports like the Cayman Islands and Cozumel (ports that don't require passports) stamp them with courtesy stamps. Does anyone know if you can still do this?

I was on the Liberty a few weeks ago and they said that they no longer do that. I think they said you can take your passport onto the pier and someone may be around there that could stamp it, but I didn't investigate it any further. Just ask Guest Services and they will let you know.

Did this last in Oct. I have always asked and they have always been very accomodating. Hope they haven't stopped recently.

I don't think the do it any longer either, but I did manage to get my first stamp last week while in Cancun on an all inclusive trip!!! I know the guy was like what's her problem... I was so excited.

They dont do it on board any longer, but you can get it stamped on shore at the local immigration/customs/police place usually close to the pier.

just ask the local port folks where to go.

We have had our passports stamped all over the caribbean on cruises.

They did it for us on the Ecstasy this month. They got our passports stamped for us in Cozumel. We just left them at the GS desk.

 

I never would have thought to ask if I hadn't seen it here a few weeks before we cruised!

Our last two cruises, we were told that they do not get the passports stamped for you through the purser's desk.

 

We always just go ashore and get them stamped ourselves.

 

There has always been an office at the pier or within a few yards of the pier, to get your stamp.
