lowbass Posted October 10, 2010 #26 Share Posted October 10, 2010 3000 fellow passengers to meet, a dozen or so ice breaker activities going on designed to meet them, and some wonder what to do, and consider reading. I think some are better off cruising alone in a canoe. That only works if "YOU WANT" to meet a lot of people and do the activites. Our past 2 and first 2 cruises have been family cruises. Our 3 boys(all late teens and older) have been bored on the sea days(mom and dad too). The ports are where you see people that are different, eat different food, explore different places. That is what "WE" like.
cruisedawgg Posted October 10, 2010 #27 Share Posted October 10, 2010 the DW absolutely HATES consecutive sea days. She's a verctive person and can't stay seated for too long. So our ideal cruise would be 2-ports, 1-sea day, rinse & repeat. But i would agree - 20 ports in 20 days would be way too much..

Planner48 Posted October 31, 2010 #29 Share Posted October 31, 2010 The best destination will always be the ship, not the ports for me.
