Summit Southern Carribean Embarkation Time

Looking forward to Southern Carribean itinerary departing San Juan 1/15/10. Curious as to what time we can actually board the ship as it doesn't leave until 8:30pm. Also, what food options are available on board that day? When we cruise leaving late afternoon we board late am and eat lunch but not sure with the later sailing. Thanks.

Most likely you will be able to board between 11 and 12 noon. We also sailed from SJ departing 8 PM and boarding started early.

Lunch will be served in the Ocean view café (buffet).

Staterooms will not be ready until 1 to 1:30.

From what I read on this site (although we didn't do this), you can check in, board, have lunch, leave your bags, and then go out again for a few hours in the afternoon and come back before sail away as in any port day.
