We also couldn't decide. I emailed Major tom and he agreed to do this for us. If we had 4 people, it was $85 each or he gave us a special price of $255 for just the two of us on a private tour. A private tour was the way to go! We really enjoyed our tour guide, albert, who knew everything about the history and culture of the island, ruins, science of the rain forest and he took us on a very calm, relaxing trip in the caves.

We ask Nacho of NCQ the same thing and he said that it can be done. We used them about a year ago and were totally pleased with their services. They were just awesome and very pleasant people, he and his wife. Next year we will be taking another cruise and this time we booked for Altun Ha and the Baboon Sanctuary with them, again. When we did our research on this board and others, we found them to have a prefect record. Everyone that used them in the past, all said, that they had a fantastic tour. We found that out, ourselves.
