Post Cruise Excursion Question

Can anyone help me with this one - I'm wondering if we can we take a Carnival excursion to the Everglades after our Valor cruise if we are not flying out of MIA the same day? We would be ok with getting dropped off at MIA and then just take a cab to our hotel (staying at Marriott at Dolphin Mall). Just looking for a way to kill some time in the morning without having to drag our luggage around with us (and without renting a car for the day). Would love to hear any other suggestions for how to spend a day in Miami post cruise. Thanks :D

We did that everglades tour the last time we cruised out of Ft. Lauderdale. We were not flying home until the next day, but they don't care. We were just dropped off at the airport. Then, we went inside the airport and called the courtesy shuttle from our hotel to come and pick us up. It worked out great.
