On-Board Credit: can I get cash from casino?

I have an on-board credit on my upcoming cruise. Can I get cash from casino which will come from this credit?

Yes, what you do is you go to the cashier at the casino and tell them you what to charge whatever amount to your room. So say you have a $200.00 on board credit, you room bill will have a $200.00 credit on there so if you take $200.00 in cash it will leave you with a $0.00 balance. What is also good is that they don't charge a fee for doing this at the casino, other cruise lines charge 3%. Hope I explained this right, if not just let me know and I will try to explain another way.

Thanks, that pretty much answers my question...so I could go to the casino and charge to my room and get cash which then could be used for tips as well as slot machines or whatever?

Yep...did exactly that last week. Worked much better than an ATM.
