QE2 new images

I recently visited Dubai which coincided with the 2nd anniversary of QE2's arrival on Nov 27.

When I got to the ship, it was being refuelled and they would not let me come closer. At least I took it as a positive sign of activity and confirmation that they keep the engines running. There was a faint whiff of smoke coming out of the funned, barely visible in the haze. The curtains on the bridge were partly closed to protect the inside from the blazing sun. And glad to see the Cunard Lion is still up there.
