Best cove balcony location on Dream??

In your opinion where is the best location for a cove balcony: closer to front, middle or back of ship?

we stayed in 2276 and it was quiet with no smell.but the next hallway going aft all ways seemed to have the smell. so my vote is for middle.

I haven't personally sailed the dream yet however through my own research I've seen a good deal suggesting to grab a room that was between the main show lounge and the galley so it would fall between the two and not directly under.

We had 2412 and 2408, they were both good. I was in 2412, and I believe it was under the galley, but not really in a loud part, I guess. If I heard anything, it was during the day or during dinner, not at night.

We were in 2325 and didn't hear a sound. We loved the cove balcony.

We were in 2374 in June. We did hear some noise from the galley above us. It sounded like carts being rolled around to us and a couple of times we heard something that sounded like something large being dropped. The noise never kept us from sleeping, though, and was a small price to pay for such an awesome balcony.

 

If noise might be a deciding factor for you, you might want to book a cove that is under the Crimson Dining Room. Should be much quieter there.

Hi, we are in that cabin this coming weekend. If you don't mind answering, how was the location. From the deck plans, it looks to be in the middle and close to elevators, is this true. Also, how was the movement in this area, could you feel ship rocking much from here?? Thanks for the help.

I had 2345, and never heard a peep. Awesome location !!

We were in 2404. We never heard a sound, and we didn't smell anything either. It was an awesome location. We really loved our balcony.

Wow that's great! it's our cabin for our Feb. 26th cruise! our boys (19 & 15) have the interior 2347 cabin.
