Celebrity a non smoking line?

Hi everyone,

I sailed Celebrity once back in 2005 on the Zenith. :D I really enjoyed the ship and my fellow passengers (not the itinerary so much as we stayed docked for most of it - it was a 7 day cruise to Bermuda - so it didn't really feel like a cruise) and would love to sail with the line again as there are a couple of ships I would like to go on. I don't wan't to start an argument or huge discussion on the matter (no flaming please) but I heard (or read, I can't remember) that Celebrity is a non smoking line now (it wasn't when I sailed with them). Is this true? If not, where can I smoke onboard? If it makes a difference, the ships I'm interested in are the Millennium and the Solstice. :D

By the way, is the Zenith still with the fleet? She's a great little old ship, I'd love to sail on her again!! :D

You can smoke but only in designated areas. There is only one indoor smoking area the club on deck 11 forward. The other areas are port side Deck 10 by the pools, the aft bar port side, and on some of the M class ship deck 4 outside the Reandeveaux(sp) lounge. The biggest change came with no longer being able to smoke in the casino, or your cabin to include the veranda. The Zeinth is no longer with Celebrity.

Very limited smoking on board. Only in designated areas. Definitely go Solistice they are amazing class of ships
