Mystic Mt Jamaica with 4y.o??

Debating taking kids to Mystic Mountain, but can't find any info on whether or not my 4 y.o can go on the sky explorer or what safety features it has to keep him from falling out.:eek: Has anyone been there?

It's like a ski lift. You stand on your mark, the chair lift swings in behind you and a bar is lowered over your head onto your lap. There is nothing to hold you in. At times you are at least 10-20 feet off the ground; I went with my 11 and 14 year olds, and I was still nervous. I wouldn't risk it with a 4 year old.

Thank you for the detailed info. That is just what I needed to make a decision. Guess it's Margaritaville beach and shopping for us. A much cheaper day.
