Dive and Snorkel trip out of Airlie Beach

Can anyone recommend a tour company to do both Diving and Snorkeling from Airlie Beach? I've read a lot of the posts about how difficult it is with timing and to just book the excursion via the ship....BUT...the ship doesn't seem to offer a Dive trip from Airlie Beach. There is one called Great Barrier Reef however in the description it only says snorkeling.

We arrive at 8:30am and leave at 6pm....but from what I understand we tender in from Airlie Beach so a trip that departs before 9:30am is probably not possible.

Any suggestions????

Fantasea is the big operator in the area, but they leave Airlie Beach before your time table. Check closely with the cruise line as most of the operators to the reef operate both dive and snorkel packages from the same boat. Which line and ship are you looking at?

Thanks....I just sent them an e-mail asking. It's RCCL...Rhapsody of the Seas.

 

Surely they do. I can't imagine the ship not offering a dive trip when it's one of the best places to dive in the world??? That just seems odd.
