What is a Pullman bed?

Recommended Posts

The pullman is an upper berth that folds out of the wall. On some ships it actually drops from the ceiling. During the day the steward will stow them away and when he/she does the turn down the bed will be opened and made up. This will be in addition to the two singles. If there are only two of you in the room it makes no difference.
