Celebrity Select Dining option

We have always enjoyed the Anytime Dining on Princess and Carnival. The opportunity to arrive at our schedule is such a plus to us. In addition, we ask for a larger table which allows us to meet different people each evening.

 

Is the Select Dining in the same dining room as traditional ? Anyone noticed any pluses or negative to Celebrity handling of this? Any other hints or view?

 

Not asking for a debate of why a person likes Traditional Dining, same wait staff, etc but would like views on the how the Celebrity Solstice Select Dining is handled compared to the companies.

We had select dining on Equinox this summer - perfect! We never made any reservations and never had to wait for more than 5 min. It's in the same room as the tradional seating, but in a separate part. Enjoy the flexibility!
