chotton Posted February 18, 2005 #2 Share Posted February 18, 2005 We stay at the Sheraton by the airport. Nice clean hotel, but not close to anything. We always book it through Priceline and always get it for $50. We are staying there on March 19.

springtxbill Posted February 18, 2005 #5 Share Posted February 18, 2005 We like the Hampton Airport North. Free shuttle to port and airport and breakfast. Also a supermarket next door to get those last minute water, sodas, etc.

jst Posted February 18, 2005 #7 Share Posted February 18, 2005 Hi there, We stayed at the Radisson Bahia Mar on our last cruise and was very satisfied. The room was clean and neat with a small balcony overlooking the canal and ocean. They have a Deli and a nice restuarant (food was excellant and reasonable), will definitely use this one again. We had previously used Pier 66 (3 times) and the last time was a disaster. The service was terrible and the price outrageous. Hope this helps you. De Colores Posted February 19, 2005 #18 Share Posted February 19, 2005 We stayed at the Best Western Rolling Hills in Ft. Lauderdale. We booked it on Overstock.com when they offered travel and got it for $69 a night. It was a lovely place, nice pool, great continental breakfast and friendly staff, and there were lots of restaurants around. We flew into FL and rented a car, sailed out of Miami and dropped the car at the Miami airport and took their free shuttle to the pier. It took about 45 min. to get to the pier. We didn't want to stay in Miami and this was a great place.
eileeno Posted February 19, 2005 Author #19 Share Posted February 19, 2005 Thanks guys!!! You all gave me great ideas on where to look. I'm going to check them all out now. Guess now I just have to worry about airfare, looks like its going to be between $340-400 per person for the dates I need. Thats what I get for booking last minute!! Thanks again Eileen
