sailing out of san juan in dec, was wondering what the best place to buy californian chardonnay in san juan? I had heard that the grocery stores are the best, but i have no clue which one has the best selection. thanks so much for your help.........:confused:

There is a nice supermarket by the airport (rt 187) that has a big selection of wines. There are a few other supermarkets in San Juan that are also good.

The one in Old San Juan has a smaller selection.

The tax free shop at the pier has a very small selection.

We always used the Supermax supermarket in Plaza de Armas in Old San Juan.. good selection, reasonable prices.
