Spa deck balconies on freedom - covered or uncovered?

Loved our balcony cabin on the spa deck on Freedom. Great location. Very quiet. These roooms have the sliding glass door versus the swinging doors on the rest of the ship. Love that too! However, balconies on this deck are not covered. The people above you can look right down on you. One morning we even had an ice cream cone thrown down onto ours!

We stayed in 1122 on our Freedom cruise. I would stay on the Spa deck again in a heartbeat. It is very quiet up there and only felt the movement of the ship one evening when the entire ship was feeling the movement. You are two short flights above the Lido deck. The balcony as mentioned is uncovered but we did not see that as a drawback. It is a bit of a walk to the Posh dining room, but that wasn't a big deal either.

I say go for it and enjoy your cruise.
