cruiser 101 Posted October 13, 2010 #1 Share Posted October 13, 2010 We would like to go to the beach at the Turtle Nest Inn in Bodden Town. Arriving by cruise ship on Dec 27, is it duable to take the bus and be back in time? We dock at 8am and leave at 4pm.
drew sailbum Posted October 13, 2010 #2 Share Posted October 13, 2010 Any buses marked BT, EE, NS (or any combination thereof) should go right through Bodden Town and past the Turtle Nest Inn. Fare should be CI$3 (US$3.75) per person each way. Board your bus at the depot. Currently the depot is located on North Church Street just north of the yellow Waterfront Centre building. I have heard rumors that it may return to its previous location next to the library on Edward Stree. Though bus service is pretty regular through Bodden Town, you should not push things too close to a last tender time. There is no exact timetable and occasionally you may see three buses with mere minutes and then none for an hour.
cruiser 101 Posted October 13, 2010 Author #3 Share Posted October 13, 2010 Can't thank you enough. We were told about the seaglass on the beach at the Turtle Nest Inn, do you know of any other beaches where you could find seaglass? Keep in mind our time frame.
