GreenIdScorpio Posted February 19, 2005 #1 Share Posted February 19, 2005 I'd like to go with private tours when I go on the Conquest 20 Nov and would love to find out which one(s) I should do since Carnival's excursions are so expensive and overflowing with lots of people. What private tours have you arranged/your experience-recommendation? How would I go about setting up a private tour/minimum # of people? Many thanks! pholter Posted February 19, 2005 #2 Share Posted February 19, 2005 I'd hop on over to the Ports of Call boards here on CC. Use the Forum Jump box at the bottom of the page. Each cruise port is highlighted and you can find detailed information to make your private excursion choices and ask questions, too.
YaYaCruiser Posted February 19, 2005 #3 Share Posted February 19, 2005 Hi, John, We highly recommend Eldon Eubanks at Native Way Watersports in Grand Cayman ( http://www.nativewaywatersports.com). A group of 17 of us chartered a boat from them to do the Stingray City tour. It was wonderful, uncrowded, and very personal. We weren't crowded in with 200 other people. Their email address is : nativway@candw.ky (That's right, no "e".) We just grabbed a snorkel boat in Cozumel and it worked out great. Have a great time! GreenIdScorpio Posted February 19, 2005 Author #4 Share Posted February 19, 2005 Wow...the cruise critic site never ceases to amaze me. Thanks for the link to the Ports of Call That area is amazing. Now to figure out when the Conquest arrives and departs in each port. I want to make the most of each port.

Now to figure out when the Conquest arrives and departs in each port. I want to make the most of each port. Here is a link to your itinerary page on Carnival so you'll know the times in each port. You'll need to be back on the ship 30 minutes prior to the departure time listed... Have fun! http://www.carnival.com/Itinerary.aspx?embkCode=MSY&itinCode=WCA&shipCode=CQ&durDays=7&subRegionCode=CW

ergator Posted February 22, 2005 #8 Share Posted February 22, 2005 We just returned from the Conquest. Carolyn Barrett Adventures was the best tour I have ever taken. Check her out. You will not be disappointed.
