hi08al10 Posted October 15, 2010 #1 Share Posted October 15, 2010 Going to Belize in early December and would really appreciate some help deciding which excursion to do. Cave tubing or snorkeling? A little worried that cave tubing may make us feel claustrophobic. Thanks!
GinDon Posted October 16, 2010 #2 Share Posted October 16, 2010 My take on it is this: you can snorkel anywhere. The cave-tubing experience is one-of-a-kind. The caves are kind of dark, but they are HUGE, I certainly didn't feel closed in while floating through them....and I'm kind of a scaredy cat. Plus, I can't swim. Had a ball, one of my favorite tours of all time.

This is one of very few places where you can cavetube. I booked two cruises just to do it. We couldn't tender on our first trip so I booked the same ship one year later. Worth every penny and minute of waiting.
