Does the Renaissance Ft Lauderdale offer transportation from the airport to the hotel?

A shuttle is really not needed. You are only about 5 minutes from the ship, I think it was about a $3.00 cab ride. We have seen the crews walking to shop from the ship and you can see the ships from the hotel. :)

In December 2004, they offered a shuttle ride from a private company they arranged. You need to sign up in advance. The driver collects $4pp. We used it because we saw few taxis and we had a lot of luggage :) The shuttle bus had a separate trailer so taking lots of bags was not a problem.

 

Maybe they all had the Christmas spirit, but we were impressed by the friendliness of the hotel's staff. Enjoy your stay.

This past October we stayed at the Renaissance and paid $9.75 plus tip from the Fort Lauderdale airport to the hotel. For our trip from the hotel to pier we also arranged with the COncierge desk the shuttle for $4.00 per person. The first time to book is @ 10:30 am and that is the one we took. Lots of room for luggage like catdancers said.

 

Also agree about the great service we received there.

 

Have booked on Priceline for our stay precruise in April.
