Another alcohol question...

Ok, I know Carnival has been taking some of the alcohol in checked bags. I've also heard many say that the carry ons are scanned, but not by Carnival.

 

So my question is... Has anyone had alcohol confiscated on carry on scanning, and if so, which port???

 

Flame me if you want, but just interested in the changing times.:D

I had a couple of the little airline bottles in my checked luggage that I brought for the night before the cruise in the hotel room and it wasn't taken. Of course it was such a small amount. We left out of Ft. Lauderdale. Didn't drink them on the ship though. It's all i can do to finish off the bottle I order when I get on the ship.

I have tried searching, but am coming up with everything but what I need.

 

Just wondering exactly "what" it is.... (I know you can order alcohol for the ship on it.) I also tried a web search & couldn't find anything.

Ok here is your answer....everyone has a story to tell. They differ.....maybe you will get scanned or caught and may be you wont/ Whether yor VIP or not it doesnt matter.
