It's maybe a 10 minute easy walk into town. Just outside the gates where you dock there will be some vendors set up.

The Flying Pirate Posted November 5, 2010 #4 Share Posted November 5, 2010 The vendors set up a flea market type thing at the end of the pier and the rest of town is a short walk from the pier. The town is fairly small so you can walk around the business district fairly easily.
goehoe Posted November 20, 2010 #5 Share Posted November 20, 2010 VERY interesting shops in town. Walking distance. I'd avoid the vendors going, in order to shop in the little town. Sunny Caribee Spice Shop is unique with all island spices by the weight. Also, Pusser's Rum only sold there is a special brand of it, and the store upstairs is good, a great mom and pop Larimar jeweler based on the authentic ballast stone streets and housed in the old historical booty warehouses, and island bakery, several clothing type shops with nice T's, not junk. Also a Columbian Emerald store on the way into town. On the way back, shop with the vendors, this way you won't have to lug bags into town. If you enjoy this type of shopping, town and vendor, i'd allow about 2 hours.
