10/23/2010 carnival freedom cruise debarking late!!!

FYI for anyone who is traveling on the 6 day Western Itinerary departing Port Everglades tomorrow at 4:00pm - the cruise that my husband and I are on, 10/23/2010 Carnival Freedom 8 Day Western Itinerary (Cozumel, Costa Rica, Panama) will be arriving at Port Everglades tomorrow afternoon around 1:30pm the earliest. Apparently there was a medical emergency very late last night, and we had to divert to Grand Cayman Island in order to get the passenger and their family off to a helicopter bound for Miami. Hopefully there should be an update on the Carnival website with further details. We're all thinking of the family that is affected by this big time, and hopefully everything will turn out okay.

we are scheduled on the sailing tomorrow and are going to just relax at the hotel...I was getting nervous that the phone call was a hoax!!!
