woodensailor Posted November 1, 2010 #1 Share Posted November 1, 2010 I am planning a tour with a local guide. We are arriving on NCL Dawn. Will the ship time be the same as local time? I want to eliminate confusion as to when we are to meet. thanks
clockwork58 Posted November 2, 2010 #2 Share Posted November 2, 2010 For universal reasons, like airplanes, The ships mainly go by GMT time. It's best to ensure that you check the timezone that you are in when you first begin your cruise, and ensure that each port of call is in the same time zone. (or adjust as needed) Also account for Daylight savings time if needed. I'm not 100% sure who observes DST and who doesn't This may help. http://www.timeanddate.com/time/dst/2010.html
