Crane Beach Question?

It's been a while since we've been out to Crane Beach, but it is without a doubt, our favorite beach. It is just stunning! It is about a 45 minute cab ride and as best as I can remember. It was about $60 round trip. We split that with another couple, so it wasn't too bad. You can enter the beach through the public access area. Just a little tricky to do that because you have to walk over a rocky area. If you go through the hotel....I believe you pay $25 which is applicable towards lunch, etc. at the hotel.

To this day.....the one time we went out to Crane Beach.....remains our most favorite beach experience in the Caribbean!! Go for it!!

Oh yes.....the cab driver came back for us.....was right on time. They all do that......pretty reliable. That particular day.....we didn't pay him until the end of the day! We were hungry then, so he took us to a place nearer the ship to have a flying fish sandwich. We liked him so much that we bought him one, too. This restaurant was near the Boatyard.....that's when we decided that the Boatyard is NOT the place to go in Barbados.....especially since we had just been out to Crane. What a difference! You caould probably take a bus, but I don't think it would let you off too close to Crane. I would think it would be a long bus ride. Find another couple to share the taxi with you!
