Online check-in - emergency contact details

Please, don't all shout at once - I'm going to seem really stupid here.

 

I'm just doing our online check-in (I've previously done this twice before in the past - so I've got no excuse), but when I have come to the emergency contact details I've drawn a blank - is this to be the name and telephone number of a family member (at home) who can be contacted if there is some sort of emergency while we are on board?

Not stupid at all. We have to change ours almost every time we cruise, as different family members will sometimes go with us. It could be a trusted neighbor or friend as well.
