Cruising solo - female cabinmate required!

Hi there - is anyone interested in being my cabin buddy? I am wanting to do the QM2 transatlantic cruise on 2 September 2005 from NY to Southampton, but most of my friends either can't afford it, don't have the same holidays or don't think there will be anything to do on a cruise (I know - are they MAD!). I am a SWF, 30yo, non-smoker, no drugs, love getting involved in whatever activities might be happening on-board, enjoy quiet times and silly times, love to dress up for any formal evenings and also happy to just lie by the pool with a good book. No pressure to hang out together 24/7, but would love to share a cabin so we can both avoid those criminally high supplemental rates. I am keen to book a room very soon so would love to hear from another female who might be in my position.

You could always check out a website www.singlestravelintl.com that I hear from friends is very good about finding cabin mates. They aren't a matchmaker company as far as I'm told or anything like that, just a singles travel club and have deals for the QM2 as well. I think the date you are going is one that they currently have a special for. They just had one for Valentine's Day as well. Good Luck.

:) Hi there - thanks for that website suggestion LM1. I had actually already contacted them but unfortunately I still haven't found a female needing a travelmate doing this same cruise (the special that singlestravelint are running is the cruise after mine :( !)

 

SO, I'm still looking for a travelmate - is anyone interested?! I know its quite early to be booking a September cruise BUT its so nice to have something to look forward to for later in the year isn't it!
