amychell Posted February 22, 2005 #1 Share Posted February 22, 2005 This is an interesting situation . . . Two weeks ago, I received my tickets for our upcoming cruise. Inside the package were our luggage tags with our color (we have an empress deck room). Today, we receive NEW tickets with grey TBA luggage tags. Now, we actually picked the room we wanted and it was the best available ~ the only thing left would be a suite and there were none available when we booked. Would they move us from a room that we *chose*? We chose this room since we needed the 2 upper beds. Anyone ever been in this situation? Which tags should I use? Thanks! :)
sea_u_onboard Posted February 22, 2005 #2 Share Posted February 22, 2005 Call your TA and see if you still have an assigned cabin. If you are still in the cabin you selected you should use the colored tags. The grey should only be used if they changed your cabin or you don't have a cabin assignment. Cotton Posted February 22, 2005 #3 Share Posted February 22, 2005 I'd call my booking agent immediately to see what's the deal. What's also curious is why you got TWO sets of documents?!
amychell Posted February 22, 2005 Author #4 Share Posted February 22, 2005 DH just brought the new documents home ~ so strange! They both say the exact same thing. Both have the same booking number, both have "Yellow AFT" on the top of the tickets, both have our room # on them, same date, etc., . . . just different luggage tags. Must have just been a glitch or something. I'll have to call my TA and ask why. Just wanted to know if this ever happened to anyone else. Thanks for the quick responses! :)
Cowgirl_Cruiser Posted February 22, 2005 #5 Share Posted February 22, 2005 I had two sets of docs for my last cruise, everything was the same I took them both just in case but the second set worked fine.
kujobie Posted February 22, 2005 #6 Share Posted February 22, 2005 I also received duplicate docs on my last cruise.
