Day Rooms Waikiki

Has anyone reserved a room for the day on Waikiki Beach prior to flying home, due to a late flight?

This is an often posed question. From what I've remembered, check with HHV, as they have day rooms, depending on their occupancy levels. Worth a try!

We had a day room at the Hilton Hawaiian Village last month. It was $139 for 4 adults. Unfortunately, resort employees were on strike that week, so all the bars and restaurants were closed. We did have fun on the beach farther down from HHV.
