Traveling on MR Cruise as a Single Parent?

My kids and I will be sailing to the Mexican Riviera (PV, Cabo & Mazatlan) and I've been having nightmares about not being able to get off the ship or back on again because I'm a single parent and both parents aren't traveling with the kids.

I have a form signed by their father stating it's okay for them to travel to PV, Cabo & Mazatlan without him, but I still worry. I heard Mexico is strict when it comes to traveling with children.

I know authorities won't be concerned with my 2 teenagers, but I'll also have a 2 year old.

Has anyone traveled as a single parent to the Mexican Riviera? How was your experience?

Thanks for the help :)

No one checks your paperwork at the ports, you only have to present it to board the ship. Once you board you are free to leave at the ports. Make sure the from from the father is notorized and you should be fine.

Thanks so much for easing my mind. I've cruised to the Bahamas before with my kids and was never asked for the consent form, but I heard Mexico is a lot stricter.

Again, it's not the countries that you are visiting that ask for documentation, it is the CRUISELINE. Once you have boarded with all of the correct paperwork, you are good.
