bedugul Posted February 23, 2005 #1 Share Posted February 23, 2005 Has anyone been to the Caymans lately? I keep reading review that the seas are so rough that people can not tender in. Has anyone had this experieince? Last time we were there we got to tender in, but our snorking tour was cancelled due to high winds.
TheWog Posted February 23, 2005 #2 Share Posted February 23, 2005 Seas were rough when we there Jan. 25, but they finally decided to let us tender over. There were 4 ships in that day. Many places weren't renting jet skis that day because of the swells though.
laceyjane Posted March 6, 2005 #3 Share Posted March 6, 2005 We were there on our Feb. 13 cruise and it was beautiful. Calm waters no wind warm.
ginspicetn Posted March 14, 2005 #4 Share Posted March 14, 2005 We were there March 7th and it was fine. However, while we were in Cozumel on the 10th, another cruise ship had to come into port because they couldn't go to Cayman because of the weather. Liz_C Posted March 14, 2005 #5 Share Posted March 14, 2005 We were in Grand Cayman on Mar. 3, 2005 and seas were calm. Don't remember there being any wind to speak of. Temps were in the 80's. We did the Sting Ray City swim and snorkel tour, which was great! Have fun!
