Equinox - cabin above smoking area?

We are on the Equinox next summer and booked in cabins 6233 and 6235. I've read that we are just above the smoking area. Anyone have any problems with smoke while out on the balcony?

If you are just above the smoking area you likely will be able to smell smoke at times. If possible you may want to switch to a room on the starboard side of the ship or move to a higher deck or select a stateroom far front or far aft (I believe the smoking area is in the middle of the deck).

I was in 6151 on the Equinox and had to move to a cabin on the starboard side because we were right above the smoking area on the Promenade deck outside of the theatre.

 

I don't know if it would be as bad midship, but you might want to move to the starboard side of the ship.
