SPLENDOR in a class by itself

The Splendor was originally designated to be a Costa Concordia class vessel. Carnival needed the passenger capacity more than Costa so they got the vessel.

Really, if you look at some of the differences between the Conquest Class and the Splendor you can see the European influence, especially in the Spa...

The Splendor was originally a Costa build that was shifted to Carnival.

From deck 8 and below it is basically the same as a Conquest class. From deck 9 and up it is pretty different. The main feature you would notice is the retractable roof over the center of the ship instead of the aft like Conquest class. Also the spa is much larger with more features (like the Dream) including Spa Class cabins.
