Cave Tubing w/9 yr old

I am wanting to do the cave tubing excursion with Coral Breeze, I am wondering if it will be to much for a 9 yr old to handle. If not cave tubing my other choices are Lamanai & River Tour: tour is 7 hrs, that's to long. Or Shark/Ray & Caye Caulker Exploration: we are doing the Stingray & Island tour in GC, would like to try something different.

One more question: Can you only reach Caye Caulker by boat? Sorry if it is a stupid question Im having a hard time finding a good map of Belize.

Thank You!

Did cave tubing with regtour (regtour@btl.net) last week, with my 8-yr-old son and 14-yr-old daughter. The guides will happily carry the black inner tube for you. The hiking is pretty easy---this is the "dry season" so it's not too muddy, and there aren't too many steps to climb. The water is not that deep. I wouldn't take a 3-yr-old, but I would not hesitate to take a 7-yr-old unless he was a dreadful swimmer (i.e., will drown if left unattended for 5 seconds). See my other posts regarding our wonderful experience...
