Asko Posted December 12, 2010 #1 Share Posted December 12, 2010 Hello! We are going on a Panamal Canal Cruise in April. It will be our 3rd cruise, but he first with a child! Is the kidsclub open during port days on Island Princess? Would you leave your child on board? We would like to do a zip line tour in Costa Rica and our son (5 years) is too young to do it. Does anybody has experience with leaving kids on board alone? Thanks for your help in advance!!!
jam82 Posted December 13, 2010 #2 Share Posted December 13, 2010 I don't have any experience with the Island, but I would think the kids club would be open during port time. Hopefully someone who know can confirm. We sailed on the CB and the kids club was open on port days and we left our DS who's almost 4 there and he loved it. We just had to sign him up in advance. We loved the Princess kids club and were very impressed with the quality of their program.
Scrapchick Posted December 13, 2010 #3 Share Posted December 13, 2010 We're Elite Princess cruisers and I have never known the kids club not to be open on a port day. Usually they want you to sign up the night before so they know staffing levels. I have been on the Island and the kids club was open. We have often left our DD on the ship and have no qualms about doing so. Others feel differently. We have nothing but good things to say about Princess kids clubs and think you'll be quite happy too.
