Pshkbb Posted December 12, 2010 #1 Share Posted December 12, 2010 I know from numerous past sailings that the actual time they tell you or suggest you board is not the real time. we always try to get there as early as possible - as in we like to be onboard by, at the latest, 11am. I know that when we got our Allure information it had a later onboard time than the Voyager class ships. does anyone know how early we can board and what time we should really get to the port? I want to be there first thing so we can really get a good feel of the ship before it is mobbed!
kahliasmom Posted December 12, 2010 #2 Share Posted December 12, 2010 When my parents went for the five day inagural, they said RCCL started letting people board at 11am. They said prior to that people were on line waiting to be let on. I seem to recall boarding earlier than that on other ships, like the Grandeur and the Seranade. Cruising89143 Posted December 16, 2010 #4 Share Posted December 16, 2010 It can vary by sailing as it depends on how quickly they can clear the ship of guests from the previous sailing. On both of our Oasis sailings, we started somewhere between 11:10 and 11:30. It goes very quickly.
