evergladesgator Posted December 26, 2010 #1 Share Posted December 26, 2010 Been awhile since we took the water taxi from the pier to Paradise Island. Newbee daughter and sil would like to see the homes on the way over What is the distance (in time also) from the docking area for the water taxi to the casino ? I seem to remember it was an uphill walk. Not good for the wife. Thanks
SteelerCruiser Posted December 27, 2010 #2 Share Posted December 27, 2010 Hello....the walk can seem a little long but not too bad. There is a moderate incline to contend with. I am normally one all for the water taxi over and back but I would suggest taking a cab/van over and have them drop off at Atlantis.......the if you want to see the houses yake the water taxi back. I think the water taxi stops running around 5ish or 6ish so this may not be an option if you want to stay later. whatever you choose have fun!!! also I would say probaly 15 or 20 minute walk up the hill, across the street, through the Atlantis Marina Village to the entrance to the Hotel/Casino. janabm81 Posted December 28, 2010 #3 Share Posted December 28, 2010 I'd say take a taxi to Atlantis and then the water taxi back to Nassau that way your wife only has to walk down hill and you still get to see the houses!
Warrior1 Posted December 28, 2010 #4 Share Posted December 28, 2010 I would second janabm81's suggestion. Cab would drop you off at the hotel and you could work your way back. Just returned last week.
