serene56 Posted June 21, 2004 #2 Share Posted June 21, 2004 Only for the dinner theme. You owont have to worry about dressing for the theme. On one night they do Caribbean Colors. You can wear a hawaiin shirt.. (stuff like that--real colorful. the other nights I wouldnt worry. Living on Earth is expensive, but it does include a free trip around the sun every year. molly_maggie2004 Posted June 22, 2004 #3 Share Posted June 22, 2004 When do you find out about the theme nights? I would like to know ahead so that I can purchase something to wear that night for my family. Do the doc's tell you what theme they will be having on your cruise? momofmeg Posted June 24, 2004 #4 Share Posted June 24, 2004 I am guessing there is just one formal night. If there an informal night too? or all the other nights casual?
kathy7558 Posted June 24, 2004 #5 Share Posted June 24, 2004 On the 6/13 sailing, we had one formal night - second night, sea day; two casual nights - first and last nights; and two informal nights in the dining room. We had only one theme dinner - Italian.
Annieeee Posted June 24, 2004 #6 Share Posted June 24, 2004 On our recent trip on the Voyager we had one formal night.. That was the 5 nights, 4 days to Canada. The formal night was OK. Like on most formal nights, some are really dressed up and other are dressed nicely and it all works well. Mikeg56, if you are goin on the 9 night, 8 day trip on the Voyager, you might contact your TA to see if she can tell you about any theme nights etc. etc. The Voyager of the Seas is a very big ship and lovely. I am glad we were only on the 5 day cruise. I much prefer the smaller Radiance class of ships. Annieeee
