serene56 Posted June 21, 2004 #2 Share Posted June 21, 2004 This is a coupon book that you receive once you are a member. You need to finish your cruise before you are a member. If this is your first cruise you wont be getting one. Living on Earth is expensive, but it does include a free trip around the sun every year. iluvcruzin Posted June 21, 2004 #3 Share Posted June 21, 2004 That's assuming mike hasn't sailed before on RCCL. To answer your question Mike.. it depends on what status you are. There are 3 levels - Gold/Platinum/Diamond. After you complete your first cruise you become a gold, after 5 Platinum after 10 Diamond. Each book is different depending on the level. There are coupons for 2-for-1 drinks, free drinks, photo discounts, bingo cards, free wine tasting, discounts in the cassino to name a few. The higher the level, the better coupons. Hope this answers your question. Maureen MS Maasdam 10/30/2004 Princess Sun 2/27/2005 Mariner of the Seas 10/16/2005

bingo3 Posted June 22, 2004 #6 Share Posted June 22, 2004 Also, for those who don't know, you must join the crown and anchor club once you've sailed, it's not automatic as I thought it would be. You can join online.
ac00009 Posted June 22, 2004 #7 Share Posted June 22, 2004 I just got back from the June 12 Alaska Cruise on Radiance of the Seas. This was my first cruise as a "Platinum Member" - It even says that on my SeaPass card. The Platinum Member book had the following coupons: One free drink (Wine, Beer, Soda or Bottled Water); Buy one get one free photo (any size); 15% off of spa services (with some exceptions); Free wine tasting session; $5 match play at the casino (table games); Two coupons for an extra $2 when spending $10 at the casino; Free bingo tickets; Discounts when purchasing RCI logo products; etc ... sorry I can't remember them all. We also got the following gifts: A RCI toiletry bag, A RCI fanny pack, A small FM radio with ear buds, and some RCI post cards. In addition to the coupon book and gifts we also got the use of RCI bathrobes, an invitation to a member’s only brunch at Chops Grille (Platinum & Diamond members), an invitation to the member’s cocktail party (all members) and a private departure lounge at debarkation (Platinum & Diamond members). Make sure you have your member number ready when booking your cruise.
famcruiser Posted June 24, 2004 #8 Share Posted June 24, 2004 When we sail next month on the Serenade, it will be our fifth RCI cruise. I was hoping that means we'll be platinum members. Or, does it not start until after the fifth cruise? Thanks, Carole

glgolfer Posted June 24, 2004 #10 Share Posted June 24, 2004 You have to complete 5 cruises to become Platinum and 10 to become Diamond. You'll be Platinum on your next cruise.
