Reg for March 15th

We are sailing on the Coral Princess and will be arriving in Belize 11:00 am on March 15th. We booked a cave tubing tour with Reg Tours for this day. he just e-mailed me requesting me to ask if there are any more people interested in the cave tubing tour. Right now its just the two of us on his bus and he can fit about 6 more. I've heard through this forum that this is a great tour so do e-mail Reg if your interested at Regtour@btl.net

My family of four went on the regtour last Tuesday (Veendam). Lots of fun for the entire family. Usual charge is $60, but for four or more, charge is $55 per. This is substantially cheaper than the cruise lines' excursion (not to mention, we started at a higher point on the river, were given the option of either jumping off a ledge 15 feet into the river or "easing" in by the shore, and we went through one additional cave)!! We were given the option of having lunch (recommended!) at a chicken BBQ near the parking lot ($5 for a wonderful piece of chicken, with garlic bread, rice and beans, some fruit, fruit punch, and a banana pecan muffin) or $6 for stewed chicken/rice & beans at a nearby restaurant. Then, one of the families asked to stop on the way back to the port at a supermarket to purchase some "cashew wine." Although Reggie was not present our day, his son, Jamai, was just as sweet as could be (proud of his country and answered any and all questions with a smile)...and the driver, Lionel, was also a nice guy, keeping my 8-yr-old son engaged throughout the cave tubing experience. Great family-friendly experience.

Post on your roll call board and ask for more people.

A few weeks ago, 14 of us from this board all signed up so we had a private tour only with us.We all met for the first time on the tour bus.It was a good time.
